He wanted to try everything in this book all in one day. So, to say the least, this book will keep kids thinking and busy with the fun projects/ideas on every page. It'll take kids a long time to "wear out" this book and they'll have a great time.
Got this book for a gift. It was the hit of our Christmas Eve party. Everyone 15 yr to 70 yr enjoyed it.
I bought this for my 49 year old son, who dispite his best efforts, had to grow up. He said he already knew most of that stuff but could use a refresher course.
Hilarious book packed with hundreds of ways to let your inner child return. This book must have been written with guys in mind. or linger. Shamelessly gleeful in its celebration of the adolescent mind-set, it will make you laugh in recognition at all the dumb stuff you used to do as a kid. I can't see most women stooping to this kind of inspired but time-wasting stupidity. But we can hope.
I am also not shocked that the New York Times (Slime) would recommend this book. I am referring to the page that tells a young girl how to look like she has hairy legs by asking a willing adult male to let her sit on him. I want to say I'm in shock at all the parents out here that don't see the danger in at least 2 of the pages of this book. People should really try and see what is being pushed on our children today. Something is wrong with that sentence and picture, and if you open your eyes you will see this could put a little girl in danger of being molested if she was to ask the wrong male. The other page has two boys in a compromising position that I believe is encouraging homosexuality. I showed this book to to many people, and including teenagers, and I didn't have to say a word, they just said wtf is that. Take a second look parents and quit laughing everything off as a joke.
